Sister Judy, Mr. & Mrs. Dink, Skeeter, Patty, Doug, Roger and PORKCHOP!
I wanna go to Japan so I can dress like this for a little while.
I will rock this Lolita look HARD.
this is a great look for them….not!!!
- visual learning
- kinesthetic/tactile learning
- auditory learning
before i do the problem i visualize it in my head first/ i think its easier this way because when you put it on paper you can see what you did wrong.
i have to have the teacher write things on the board to understand it/i have to do that so i know that im doing it right and im not trying to figure something out i have no clue how to do.
i have to rewrite a formula or concept to remeber it/ i have to do the because if i dont do that i will rememeber nothing i learned the next day
i have the same problem. if i dont rewrite something i forget what i learned that next day.
1. Do math everyday… doing something daily no matter what it is, is a great way to get better at it.
2. Time management… knowing when to study and when not to study is a big part of an college class.
3. Good note taking… if you don’t have good notes and you want to look back on them for studying there is no point to even taking nots.
4. Going to class… by this i don’t actually mean going to class because I think I am pretty good at that but it is more of the having the right state of mind while being in class.
5. Studying… I know this class is basically a review class for me but I still should study a little bit for it.
6. Listening to the entire lecture… I tend to day dream half way into the lecture.
7. Resources… having your math book, notes, or something else to studying at at all times.
seems like we have simliar habits….especially daydreaming!
Pg.23
My learning style is visual and auditory
- Use highlighters to mark key points. THis is a good idea becuse i can focus on spacific points
- Writing down notes. I need organized notes to help me solve the problem
- Sit near the front of the classroom. This will help me pay more attention in class.
- Study group. This is good for me because i need mathematical conversation.
Pg. 31
- I will have a better attitude when it comes to solving math
- I will keep my notes organized
- Not Skip class
- Use my resources
- Study smart
- Do math every day
- Quiz myself
I HAVE A LOT OF THE SAME STUDY HABITS.
1. I AM RESPONSIBLE FOR MY OWN WORK TO PASS THE COURSE.
2. IF I STUDY HARD THE MORE PROUD I WILL MAKE MYSELF AT THE END OF THE SEMESTER.
3. IF I FOCUS ON MATH THE MORE LIKELY I AM TO UNDERSTAND IT.
4. IF I THINK NEGATIVE IT WILL RESULT IN A POOR GRADE.
5. MATH SKILLS ARE USED IN EVERYDAY LIFE.
6. THE MORE I PRACTICE THE EASIER MATH WILL BE.
7. KEEPING AN ORGANIZED NOTEBOOK WILL MAKE IT EASIER TO STUDY FOR A TEST.
1. VISUAL LEARNING
2. AUDITORY LEARNING
3. KINESTHETIC/ TACTILE LEARNING
THINGS THAT HELP ME WITH LEARNING:
TAKING GOOD NOTES AND HIGHLIGHTING THINGS THAT ARE IMPORTANT SUCH AS FORMULAS OR TERMS.
NOTE CARDS ARE ALSO A GOOD IDEA BECAUSE U CAN USE THEM AS FLASH CARDS BEFORE THE TEST.
REWRITING NOTES OR THINGS THAT ARE METIONED IN CLASS PRIOR TO THE TEST ARE IMPORTANT SINCE U ARE MORE LIKELY TO REMEMBER SOMETHING SAID OR WRITTEN RECENTLY.
ASKING QUESTIONS DURING CLASS IS A GOOD IDEA THAT WAY YOU UNDERSTAND THE MATERIAL YOU ARE REVIEWING.
REPEATING THINGS ALOUD IS HELPFUL WHEN TRYING TO REMEMBER THINGS BECAUSE IT TAKES MORE OF AN EFFORT TO COMPREHEND RATHER THAN READING SILENTLY.
